"A Life Well Remembered"
Thank you for taking the time to visit our web site. A great deal of time and effort has gone into providing this service to our community and the families we serve. We invite any questions you may have by simply calling or email.
With our "at-home" atmosphere, we strive to make our families and visitors feel comfortable while paying respects to their lost loved ones, and we make considerable efforts to maintain our focus on the high standards of service you expect.
Our goal here is to make an everlasting memory of your loved one by personalizing the greatest details to the services we provide. Whether you want simple services, an elaborate ceremony or no services at all; whether you want ground burial, entombment, cremation or inurnment; isn’t it a relief to know you can make arrangements for all these services with us, at High Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park.
Unlike our area's corporate funeral homes, We are unique and proud to be one of the very few family owned and operated funeral homes in Southern West Virginia. As well as one of Southern West Virginia's family owned and operated Perpetual Care Cemetery's with 4 mausoleums including niches. When you call on High Lawn you will be directed to a professional licensed funeral director, cemetery family service counselor, and even our owner--and not have to answer to an out-of-state corporate office that only label you and your family for profit.
Also, at High Lawn Funeral Home, our funeral director will help assist you in your aftercare such as filing of life insurance, UMWA, Railroaders, VA Benefits, *assisting with any probate (*although legal advice may be needed), or any other final details that may be overwhelming. This service is at no charge to you or or family. Also, if you and your family are ever interested in making preneed funeral services arrangements, you will sit down with a funeral director or a licensed pre-need counselor that have been trained by funeral professionals to help make these final decisions
Don't be shy....I invite you to come in and tour our home, have coffee and refreshments, and meet our staff--7 days a week.
Thanks again for visiting!
Nick Rine, Licensed Funeral Director in Charge/Embalmer
